Summer <3

Summer has been satisfying. I've managed to keep myself busy everyday since school got out, yay me. I don't like that feeling of when you wake up late and feel like half your day has gone to waste and you feel sleepy all day and have nothing to do but sit around feeling lazy and blehhh.... I'll try not to let that happen to me. There are plenty of things I can do if I needed to keep myself occupied. Luckly, Edward Wu is here - always feel a lot more like "vacation" when someone from somewhere that's not here comes to visit. I wish I could go to Hong Kong and visit him sometimes instead though. Well he's leaving in mid-July, and soon after, Mathieu will be coming! So, even if I find nothing to do, which isn't likely, I can always find a way to entertain our guest. Oui.

Ya know, even though this summer everyone is going everywhere but me, I'm gonna make the most of my second to last summer before college. eek. Monika just left for PARIS today with her family - it's their first time visiting Europe, if only I could join them! Arden is going to Mexico soon and her birthday "party" which was supposed to be today was postponed due to her feeling "ill" (I might be getting sick myself, oh no). Eva went to visit UC campuses in Southern California with EAOP (never heard about it, or I would've gone!). A bunch of people are going to China or touring some part of Asia - that's what I have to do next summer.

So my plans are... my english class at Merritt (boo) with Kristin (yay). Then internship in July and LeadU in August. I'm also organizing a personal-ish thing that is career oriented. I want to write up a list of different careers I'm interested and the people I know who are in thast field, contact them, and schedule a time to follow them around for a day or for a few hours to see what it would be like to be in their profession some day. Yes, this sounds productive and worthy to be mentioned in college apps.

OH gotta go, bye!
